Enlightening book.  Nov 10, 2005
This book was very good and to the point. The title is perfect for surely by seeking God's face, he will surely provide. It is down to earth in what is written. I like the honesty portrayed and also encouragement through trusting God and his word. Surely God will never leave nor forsake us. I am not bi-polar but I now have a little bit more of an understanding of what it is. I have bought 2 copies of this book to give to 2 of my friends who are bi-polar. I started reading it one day and finished the next. I highly endorse it.
 
Encouragement for Christians diagnosed with bipolar disorder  Jun 18, 2003
This book is the best I've found for Christians living with bipolar disorder. The author is a Christian and speaks honestly about her own personal experiences. She gives encouragement and support for people who are in the midst of mania and depression and are struggling with their faith. She makes me feel like I am not alone in my doubts and confusion while experiencing the ups and downs of living with the illness. She gives assurance that God does not abandon us and gives practical Bible references to treasure.

I read this book recently and am very thankful for the positive encouragement and support it gives to Christians living with bipolar disorder (like myself). I have been searching for years for a book like this and am extremely grateful that this site carries this book.

Gayle L. Darhower has drafted a workable system to deal with her Bipolar Disorder. She gives us a rare insight into the struggles of Depression and its opposite emotion Mania and how she uses her strong belief in God to maintain control of her life. I applaud Ms. Darhower's courage in opening her life to the scrutiny of others. God Bless.
